cANCER OVERVIEW
Cancer is a disease characterized by the uncontrolled division and spread of abnormal cells in the body. This condition can occur anywhere in the body; however, all cancers are different. Cancers differ because of the cells that they initially effect causing changes to structure and function of the cells and body as well as having differing treatment options. Cancerous cells can then metastasize to other parts of the body.
